i have in my shitty laptop the following:

nvidia geforce 610m with 1GB of dedicated VRAM
and
intel HD 3000 (intigrated)

is this classed as dual video cards?

I've heard of some GPU configurations allowing for both of them to be used at the same time, however normally if one is enabled the other is automatically disabled.

Not that it'd matter, your not going to get any major FPS boosts with an Intel HD 3000 GPU LOL

You have to have two of the same graphics cards to run dual gpu. Also they have to be linked together either using crossfire or sli.

No one is intergrated, the other is a separate GPU

So you only have one, he other is what we call "on board" graphics

coz i was playing waw on the "on-board" and it gave me solid 91 fps
i played waw  on the other card and it still gave me 91 fps

played mw3 and bo2 with on board and the results were devastating played mw3 and bo2 on other card results were nice smooth gameplay

prob both cards can hit 90 on those settings

i forget the command, but there is a console command to set the FPS cap. Change it to 1000 or something, then you will see the difference

Onboard graphics are usually very basic

and not to say very poor in performance

my old onboard ran COD 5 on roughly medium, lots of issues though

i carnt even hit 100 fps on waw but i can get a solid 60 fps on bo2 and 30 fps on AW so

The FPS is "capped"

On Waw it physically cannot go above 90, and black ops 2 is capped at 60, unless you "uncap them"

AW is capped at 60, so if your hitting 30, then thats finally above your GPUs capabilities, but the others are running at what they are capped at, so can prob go a "little" further if you uncap it

In waw you can do it with the console command. But until you do, 91 will be your absolute maximum

but on custom maps i dont really see 90 fps unless its portalled very well or the map has not been detailed as much as whatit could

example:
the swan = for my pc = traumatic time
but nazi_zombie_ali on the other hand it has a lot of detail but i get solid 90 all round

well yea a well portaled map will improve performance

As long as your FPS is reasonable, its all good

Some of the bestand well portaled maps ive played still suffer from "some" FPS drop, especially during "FX heavy" moments
