So I've got Dukip's MOTD Hud. I've edited it to how I want it, added in an ammo counter based on images. All works well. Then one day, I wake up, and I try to compile after some changes in Radiant. It's not there. It shows the standard WaW Hud, instead of the one I want it to use.

I've added it into my mod.csv;
menufile,ui\motd_hud.menu
Both the menufile and _ts_hud is ticked off in Launcher.
As are images, get no error in the console ingame, nor during compile.

Any idea what could be the reason of this? I've tried to come up with what could be the cause, but I've got no luck, any help is appreciated.

Check the compiler when building your mod, if you even a single error it will revert back to default.

Did you compile your map with the right mod specific map selected?

This is silly. I tried some various things, nothing helped. Then when I compiled one time, I noticed errors with the menufile.. Long story short, fixed 'em, it works fine again. I must've been partially blind the couple hundred times I'd checked for an error, but I got it working.

i only figured out thats what i did to do it when i did it to someone elses via teamviewer, lol i think most of us forgot
