Got this error again :/

Double Post Merge: August 12, 2015, 06:00:42 pm
Okay so I noticed that deleting some pathnodes fixes up the problem temporarily, however, I still need to expand my map, so how I am I supposed to keep adding pathnodes if I'm gonna keep getting that error? Anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks to both of you. I'm still kinda new to this, so I don't really know where it's supposed to go. :/

Does "waitttill" really need three T's or is it a typo?

And thanks a lot :)

Oh and where would I add that code?

Yeah, but what if I want to add PhD Flopper to my map

Is there some tool, or something, that I can use to put in a small area that instantly downs players? For example, if they fall in a pit they would get downed, how can I do that?

I keep getting this error when I try to compile my map. Don't know what it means or how to fix it. I've done google searches, but not much help. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

Anyone? I can't test my map with this error in the way

dont need "all_sp"

there is no instance of it in the alias. Thats to load a alias, but only sounds that have that argument in them

yours would just be

,,,

or

,,master,

or might be

,,music_all,

i believe

tried both instances, didn't work. Maybe I did something wrong? You mind showing me a tutorial either from you or elsewhere that corresponds to the UGX Jukebox?

ah okay I'll try that and report back, thanks :)

Ok but keep in mind that I'm talking about your map mod folder(Nazi_zombie_mapname) to zip and not the actual mod folder itself :troll:

okay you lost me....

All maps shared on this site, people have access to the codes and scripts and such(if they know how to get there). So to answer your question. Yes. But that's how you make an exe. You zip the folder with the contents inside it. Not the contents inside the folder itself.

thanks for the advice, I'll try that out and let you know what happens

Your suppose to zip the folder that has those files inside of them not the files inside the folder. That's why it isn't showing for your friend. Try zipping the folder then make the exe and it should work then.

but if I do that, won't my friends and those that I share the map with have access to the code and scripts and be able to change them?

I zipped my mod.ff, mod.CSV,mod.arena, nazi_zombie_mp.ff, nazi_zombie_mp_patch.ff, Mapname.files, Mapname.iwd and used both UGX and ZM (not simultaneously) to create an exe, but the both give the same results.

He's installing it in the mods folder in the AppData path

Okay so here's the deal. It has to do something with the map name apparently. For example, in the launcher in the "build mod" tab the name says just "Mapname" in the list, and in the "compile level" tab, it shows up as "nazi_zombie_mn" ("mn" being the abbreviation for "Mapname") and in the Mod Specific Map list it shows up as "Mapname." And so when my friend tried to instal the map, it wouldnt even show up for either variation of the map name.

Is there anyway to fix this?
