Is there some tool, or something, that I can use to put in a small area that instantly downs players? For example, if they fall in a pit they would get downed, how can I do that?
I keep getting this error when I try to compile my map. Don't know what it means or how to fix it. I've done google searches, but not much help. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Double Post Merge: August 10, 2015, 03:11:08 amAnyone? I can't test my map with this error in the way
I wanted a friend of mine to test out my map with me, for the first time. I tried using UGX Installer and ZM installer alternatively. I followed each direction carefully to make my map into an exe, and when my friend installed it, he went into the Mods menu in WaW and my map doesn't show up.
Okay, I know this has been posted plenty times before. I looked through several topics on this issue, but I can't seem to fix it.
It started after I tried adding the mosin nagant into my zombie map. At first I added the Type99 LMG with no problems. I configured the soundalias to make the sounds work with zombies and it went smoothly. Then I proceeded to add the Mosin Nagant, and that's where it went downhill. In the weapons.csv soundalias I only had to configure about 7 or so lines of code to make the sounds work for zombies, but after building the mod and recompiling, I get the error. I of course tried fixing the error by adding "#" in front of the sounds that I wasn't going to use and I actually disabled around 20+ of them so it made no sense to me that I would still be getting the error.
So any suggestions for this? I can't test out my map with that dumb limit in the way.
It's a weird question, but basically is there a way so that players can buy a door or debirs, go past it, and then the door/debris respawns behind them locking them out of the area they were just in?
I followed the steps exactly as described in the UGX Wiki and added one custom song. When I tried playing the song in-game from the Jukebox, it doesn't play the song. It still charges me the points required to play a song, and the animation shows the vinyl being played for one second and then it stops and goes back into the stack and the song never plays. Am I doing something wrong?
Not sure if I worded that right, but basically zombies aren't getting their heads blown off when I shoot them in the head. Sometimes even when there's insta kill it doesn't always take their heads off. How do I fix it do their heads pop off?
Ive followed each step perfectly to use a custom song for the main menu, and it worked, but it sounds very low. The original file itself is actually pretty loud, but when i listen to it through the game's menu, it's low. Ive done obvious things like check the sound settings and whatnot but no dice. Any suggestions?
I've been searching on here, other zombie modding forums, good, etc, but either I'm typing the wrong thing or I just really can't find any tutorial. I want to have those fast zombies that are a lot faster than the sprint zombies, like those in MidgetBlaster's "Cryogenic" map and many others. Is there any way to do this? Double Post Merge: July 27, 2015, 01:28:29 pmAny help?
I currently have two zones in my map, each one separated by buyable doors. The thing is, Zombies that spawn from start zone wont cross o continue chasing me if I cross over to the second zone. They just stand there and not do anything. If I'm in the second One and zombies start spawning from the start zone, then what they'll do is run over to where I placed placed player spawn points and just hang around there. I've placed pathbodes correctly and almost sure I've set up zones correctly in game file so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Any ideas?
As a side question, is there any way to make zombies spawn behind a window without barriers? I've tried but they spawn and don't move.
I started working on my first map and ran into some trouble. There are these really nasty lighting artifacts that appear all throughout my map and I have no idea how to fix them. Even putting a light grid volume didn't help. I'm hoping someone can identify the problem and give me advice on how to fix it.
