Yeah I really couldnt stand New Vegas, but a lot of people have told me that its predecessor fallout 3 was much much better

NV - all i thought was - terrible voice acting, a story i didnt follow at all from the minute i put it in the console to 4 hours later, and horrificly stiff animations

I noticed you can search just about everything - then realised you will find nothing tho,

Bin! has rubbish in
Desk drawer! plant...

felt more like a exploration game, so i wandered... into a area im guessing i wasnt meant to be as i got absolutely pwned by the first enemy i saw, and i was never able to get back "out" of that area, nor did i really understand where i was meant to be going anyway lol, so just gave up

Too much of what i can only describe as "work" for people who are not already in to the series like ourselves I think

I usually love RPGs too, I have spent 1000s of hours on em, but not this, oh no lol

I guess I just got unlucky by playing the worst game in the series first then, lol.

Maybe I should give Fallout 3 a chance

finished fallout 4 main story, love it though ending was great, but bo3 was my least favorite campaign so far(including ghosts) too many cut scenes, and tha chars were boring, f4 all the way

I think bo3 is worth the price. Note: I don't own and have not played Fallout 4

Fallout 4 for it's in depth story and immensely improved gunplay over it's predecessors.
Black Ops 3 for Zombies and the Multiplayer (Specialists rock). I can't vouch for the Campaign though

It doesn't really bother me, I have both regardless (thanks EB games for a ripper of a deal on both).
But, I've put almost a week into BO3 (in-game time) and haven't regretted it for one second, and I've put about 2 days into Fallout 4, and I've been enjoying roaming around and exlporing, and blowing a Deathclaw to Smitherines with a Mini-Nuke or my Legendary 2-shot sniper Rifle.

So, it all depends on your playstyle really.
if you like to fuck shit up by throwing a hissy fit and slamming some sticks into the ground and kill everything, then play Black Ops 3.
If you want to feel like a badass, and look like one in the process, then play Fallout 4.

Call of Duty games are the most "bleh" recreated money bag games in existence. The only reason to buy a CoD game is for zombies, and considering you are on here and probably play tons of custom Nazi Zombies maps already you don't really need the new BlOps 3. On the other hand Fallout 4 is an amazing game with a whole new world to explore and as you find your son, and by find your son I mean build giant houses and bars and fortresses from the scrap you pick up around you when traveling.

Fallout 4 for sure.
