I have never played any of the Fallout series. Are they similar Black Ops, and are they as fun?

Fallout is completely different from Black Ops in almost every aspect. Fallout is an open world survivalist kinda game, search it up and read/ watch some stuff.

It is a single player game, no co-op but is still believable fun. And Dead Island isn't really something to compare it to

Let me apply a more serious answer than my previous, kek.

Fallout 4.

While Black Ops 3 is a very enjoyable game I very much love the Fallout franchise, Fallout 3 and NV are both well in my top favorites and I am still playing them to this day proving the replay ability in them.

Black Ops 3, unless it gets Mod Tools, simply won't give the me that same amount of play time as Fallout 4 would, assuming Fallout 4 follows 3's and NV's style of being able to do whatever you want, tons of side quests etc, good and bad roles and so on, then I would go with FO4.

EDIT: Of course, this is my personal opinion, Fallout is a game you really need to be into, some people may like Call of Duty.

I feel you can't compare them, as they are 2 different games, but like I said, for me, FO4.

I don't understand what's so "great" about the fallout series to be honest. Played New Vegas for about 30 minutes and stopped playing cause I wasn't having fun with it. Mind you, I do love RPG games like that but just didn't find the game "enjoyable".

Maybe I just didn't give it enough chance, IDK.

Yeah I really couldnt stand New Vegas, but a lot of people have told me that its predecessor fallout 3 was much much better

NV - all i thought was - terrible voice acting, a story i didnt follow at all from the minute i put it in the console to 4 hours later, and horrificly stiff animations

I noticed you can search just about everything - then realised you will find nothing tho,

bookcase! empty
pot! empty
crate! empty
Bin! has rubbish in
Desk drawer! plant...

felt more like a exploration game, so i wandered... into a area im guessing i wasnt meant to be as i got absolutely pwned by the first enemy i saw, and i was never able to get back "out" of that area, nor did i really understand where i was meant to be going anyway lol, so just gave up

Too much of what i can only describe as "work" for people who are not already in to the series like ourselves I think

I usually love RPGs too, I have spent 1000s of hours on em, but not this, oh no lol
