Weird thumbs when porting MWR Pistols

So in maya, the left hand thumb always looks messed up for the pistols. Do I just need to fix this myself for every animation or is something wrong besides that?

Good to know, I have ripped out the models I need for my own project so I would need to manually edit every single anim from MWR/IW to look OK?

I havent noticed a need to do so for Infinite Warfare, but some of the MWR anims do need fixing
