I'm experiencing some issues with two of the UGX apps, both with the UGX map installer and the UGX map manager. Both of these applications are creating empty folders within my root/mods folder where my custom map mods are located. Obviously they shouldn't be doing this.

If Java had true garbage collection, most programs would delete themselves upon execution.
They don't have permission to write to the folder. Run as administrator.

The map itself installs fine without being an admin... the app just create a duplicate file where it shouldn't is all.

hmm, never noticed it when extracted a custom map from a rar... w/e, guess ill have to delete them.
