So I decided to port Sten from BO1 campaign. I got everything else working, except knifing is fucked up for some reason



As you can see, knife goes way too much to the right. Issue is not in weaponfile, since I put everything in other weaponfile, but still not working

Did you port the anims through maya or though Tom's xAnim Tool? Also, I know you said the weaponfile is fine, but are all the knife related settings correct in the weaponfile?

If that is the waw knifing anims then the viewhands are too short,  This happens with the waw knifing anims that you see the end of the viewhand with short viewhands.  If that's not the issue might be a issue with the knifing times in the weapon file.  ;)

Toms xAnim Tool. And I used working weaponfile after I got this, still was happening. Using BO1 weaponfile now, that has been converted

Well, I wish you the best of luck. I'm not the greatest at waw weaponfiles, even though they're really similar to bo weaponfiles.

I'm pretty sure that happens with the knife anim sometimes when you are using WAW viewhands (sometimes playing zombies maps you can see what I mean it looks alot alike too the picture) but that does not happen always.  Try changing the viewhands cause those viewhands are really short or use a different knifing anim.

Its not knife anim issue. Happens with both stock and CoD4 anims. And I meant position of the knife again, not the issue with seeing through viewarms

Just tested with different viewmodel and the issue is still there, so its probably maybe idle anim? I will try Type 100 anim soon
