I know some people are having trouble playing WaW with Tunngle (online Lan application) so here is how you do it.
first you will need these Applications
Lanfixed copy of the .exe.

the alternative .exe is the same as the original CD version that it comes with, you are still able to go online, play with friends, ETC with it so don't worry.
HOWEVER, it is not the same as the .EXE that comes with Steam, you will not be forced to login to steam to play the game, nor will you have any other of the steam features.
i recommend making the alternative .EXE for steam (CoDWaW(2).exe) as you are giving the option when dragging it into the folder.

Register and agree to the terms of service, make an account.
in the top left corner of the interface, there is a search bar. search for call of duty: world at war, join any room as you wish.
change your game setting to LAN, give yourself an ingame username, and precede to play LAN.
NOTE: this tutorial was made purely out of boredom, and the need to help people who couldn't get LAN to work.
////other info\\\\
Tunngle has a bad habit of screwing up, whether its the application or the driver that it installs. simply re download to fix this.
