Hi, I am new to using mod tools so forgive me if I messed up something in the first place. So, I used ZKs guide on how to install them, little did I know that the place he said to install them was not the root place as I think he didn't have steam. So I then put them in the root folder. I've tried using both the UGX script placer and the other one, this was where I ran into my first problem. When going into my mods folder, the map was not there. But when I searched for it, it was there and it said it was in the mods folder. I decided to drag it over there so it was definitely there. Nothing was in the map source folder.

Anyways, then whenever I use radiant (bearing in mind that I did the converter thing and am running on administrator) it comes up with a box with the options of launcher, something I cant remember and codwaw.jpr. I try to click on codwaw.jpr but it comes up with a fatal error message. I have tried to solve it but don't know how. Also my sp tool in the bin folder has the same invisible thing that happened to the map I made.

Are there any fixes? Do you need any extra information as well as I could have gone wrong somewhere? Thanks in advance for helping, I hope this can be fixed so that I can start using the tools soon.

you need to unhide the files, you have windows set to hide certain files or folders

Look up "show hidden files or folders - windows" on google

That made it so I can see the map names and stuff in the mods and map source folder, still not the sp_tool but when I tried dragging it over, it said it was already there so I am not sure about that. Radiant still does not work sadly.

sp_tool is irrelevent, was just left in by the devs. You can delete that stuff

sounds to me like the mod tools dodnt install correctly or you are missing the mod tools 1.0 patch. Go to the ugx wiki and go to the downloads for the mod tool and make sure you download the first one and then install them all in order.

first time you open radiant it asks you load "preferences" and opens a window showing one file

codwaw.prj

you "should" just double click this and radiant will then work, and this will never come up again. If its crashing after that point, id suggest re installing the mod tools fresh
