Hello everyone, our team, Xenia Gaming, are trying to make custom animations for a Knife (I ported the knifes from CSGO but there's no way to decompile those animations) but we can't place the knife in hands, we are trying this for more than 2 months already, could someone help us?

This user has access to the Black Ops 3 Modtools Alpha
You can have just a melee weapon like in GO or similar to the ballistic knives. You just have to mess with bulletweapon to not have ammo, hide the ammo display, and edit the knife anims in that weapon file.

I know how to script this kind of stuff, the only things me and my teammate doesnt know to do is the animation on maya, we got everything in and we are trying so hard but we cant.

I dont know for sure because i never did it myself, but i think the game automaticly attaches the knife-model you set in the weapon-file to either tag_knife (or maybe tag_weapon_left). So i think you can just make an anim with empty hands and put that in the weap-file?

If not, try and explain a bit better what your issue is. Making the anims work / making the knife-model appear / both or something else.

Well, the knifes are ported from black ops to cod4, which makes the knife stay in hand, what we want to do is to make pullour animations basically, like a normal weapon but just a knife, I ported the knifes from CSGO and placed bones from Black Ops knifes which seems to work pretty well, of course with those animations from Black Ops.
