Hey,

I am finally working on adding guns to other maps, for example I got the thundergun in COTD. But some guns doesn't work for a reason. For example, when I add:

weapon,sp/zombie_m1carbine_upgraded

I get this error:

Can not create merged weapon zombie_m1carbine_upgraded.  Too few attachments, must have at least two.
failed loading 'sp/zombie_m1carbine_upgraded' of type 'weapon' found in source file '../zone_source/mod.csv'

It happens with almost all WAW guns, also with some DLC WW's, but it doesn't happen with every gun. The creek_knife from SP does work, the thundergun does work. The flamethrower does work (even though it's just a buggy gun), but things like the BAR, M1 Carbine Upgraded, stielhandgranate etc. doesn't work.

How can I fix this or is this a problem because it's a DLC gun and not in the weapons folder?

WaW weaponfiles will not work with BO1. Also, this error usually indicates a mistake somewhere in the weaponfile.

WaW weaponfiles will not work with BO1. Also, this error usually indicates a mistake somewhere in the weaponfile.

They're not WaW weaponfiles, they're BO weaponfiles for the WaW weapons, as in BO Rezurrection you have the remastered WaW maps. I only use guns from those maps. I just f*cked around with Nacht der Untoten and tried to get some upgrade working (just with weapon cabinet, script edit), and the M1911 did work, but the upgraded WaW wall weapons didn't because those weapons had to be included. And that's when I got the errors.

They're not WaW weaponfiles, they're BO weaponfiles for the WaW weapons

Where did you get the bo1 weaponfiles for them?? 0.0

I didn't. But I assumed since I could load in the SP files the DLC files wouldn't be a problem. But I guess I need to 'rebuild' them, or not? I don't know what the error means to be honest..

Well, to include a new weapon like that, you'd need to remake the weaponfile.

I don't know, but if the settings are the same, then creating a new weapon file won't be so hard. Just a matter of opening a WaW gunfile and asman. Will try it out soon.

You will need the models/anims from waw for it to actually function properly.

Just a *hopefully* last question, I try to replace a gun from the wall, so I copied the entry in my gdt of a gun and called it a gun from the wall. Then I tried to do weapon,sp/FILENAME, but then I get Assert alert (with as title filesize > 0). What is the problem of that?

change the name in the file

I think its complaining that its calling a localized string that doesnt exist?
