This video is for you if:
     - your zones seem to work only some of the times
     - going into a zone triggers spawners in another zone
    - IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE  ENTRANCE/EXIT TO A ROOM/ZONE

Here is a video describing more in-depth what it means for zone to be adjacent. It gets a little repetitive toward the end to be sure the adjacent zones are correct. If someone has stuff to add go ahead:

Nice, I'm so glad someone is finally explaining this like this. I've tried in the past and have met with much resistance. This should clear up many zoning issues people have when they begin. Other than the other errors people make like kvps on the spawners, missing spawners, and cut versus copying zones, and how that affects kvps.

Here is a thing I tried to explain some time ago, not sure if you can use any of it:
