Hey, my power switch is not working. I have placed it into the map, and I have tested different power switches such as Sniperbolt's tutorial one and Harry Bo21's. I have even followed a tutorial on how to make one, and it isn't working. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but the power switch is on the second floor.

Do you see a hand icon, when you stand next to the power switch?

If you only see the hand without a hintstring, then you havn't set the correct kvp's to the trigger.

post a picture of your kvp's so people can help you

The KVP for my trigger is:

targetname : use_power_switch

In the tutorial, that was the only KVP they added. It doesn't look right, so can anyone tell me the correct ones. Thanks.

Just follow the tutorial. It's completly working for me.
Do you see the text "Press F to..." when you stand in front of the trigger? Do you get any error messages?
Please give some better information about what's not working.

It’s 12am where I live now...so I will have to continue this tomorrow. I don’t get a ‘press F to turn on power’ I just get a hand symbol. I will check the console tomorrow to see if there are any errors. Thanks. And before I see if there are any errors I will try the tutorial again. I might have missed something.

Use the one harry has supplied because the one sniperbolt uses is completely different harry's power switch. If you are using harry's perks, I believe he re-wrote the entire perk system which messes with the default power switch.

I have tried both of Harry’s switches and they are just black

I've added Harry's power switch, and it works - but it is completely black apart from the handle. Also, I was wondering how I could make doors open and lights turn on only when the power is switched on.
