I have some terrain patch water around a building that goes below the level of the water. The patches have been cut around so that it is not inside the walls at all but when I am inside below the water line outside the game makes me swim...? I'm just going to put the brushmodels back in, which don't do this, but I would rather have the patches. Anyone know what I am doing wrong, a way to block the water, or something else?

thats the power of dyn_water textures lol, use another water that isnt dinamic if you want the player to go below the water level(even if the dont go directly under the water lol)

lol i didnt knew you could chose your own post as best answer xD
unfortunately yeah  :-\ i also wanted to have water inside one building once but to prevent dyn water to cause it first of all the texture must be applied to a brush and that brush must be perfectly delimited by other brushes and those brushes must have a texture that isnt caulk. so i just went ahead using another texture :P lol
