Hey everyone!

When I am using radiant and when I am going to select models, the models sometimes get invisible and it is hard to place the models because you can't see them obvisouly.

The models gets invisible depending on which direction you are looking at the model. Espacially when you are close to the models in radiant, they get invisible.

Why is this happening, and what is it caused by?

Note: This only happens when you select a model when it gets invisible. But I don't want it to do that obvisouly because it makes it a lot harder to place them in radiant.
But what I see it as, it is something that I can't fix, but I don't know.

Thanks in advance.

You mean that the models needs to be checked in the filter window? If so, sorry it didn't work.

The wierd thing is, this haven't happened before, it happened just recently.

Are there anybody else who have any ideas?

If Java had true garbage collection, most programs would delete themselves upon execution.

Sounds like you are placing things on a Layer which is hidden. Press L to bring up the Layers window and check to see if the active (green) layer is hidden.

Hmm, no nothing is wron gwith that.

Just an idea, could it be some kind of a limit that I have reached? xmodel limit, Or something? Because, I tested if the model gets invisible in the sniperbolt_tutorial map in radiant, but the models doesn't get invisible there. Only in my .map file in radiant.

I have 3330 misc models in the map by the way.

But if this can't get fixed, then I can try to work with the map anyway, if I just don't look close to the models when placing them were I want them to be. Because it is more often they get invisible when I am close to the models when selecting them. But they do always show up when I hhave them unselected.

But I am soon done with the map anyway so I think I can finish it, if it doesn't lead to an another error when this happens.

Layers are map-specific, which could be why this only happens in your .map file. I suggest you post a picture of your Layers window so that we can verify that you do not have the active layer hidden.
