Hello, I know most people have said this before, and I've seen what everyone says to do: Put a # in front of any sounds you don't want in weapons.csv file like:
#weap_tt33_fire_ubershot_st,,SFX/Weapon/blahblahblah
I AM using Harrybo's perks and I AM aware that it will make your reach the limit of fx/soundaliases
However, I have a few concerns with this:
1. Will doing this affect ANY OTHER map's tt33 sounds?
If you build their fastfiles after editiing the weapons.csv sound alias file, yes.
2. Am I doing it right?
Yes.
3. I've did that to like AT LEAST 100 lines, is it ACTUALLY solving anything?
Yes, it now will not compile/add those 100 sounds.
4. I use notepad++ and all the text is just black. Is it supposed to become like gray when I do that?
No, unless you select a language, I just select C++for highlighting.
Sorry for asking a lot of questions, but I need to get this straight, because I don't want to damage anything just to have Harrybo's Perks.

#1 I don't have weapons.csv in my mods folder. I only have it in raw/soundaliases, will this still affect everything?
Also do you mean it will affect others if i build the OTHER maps fastfiles, not my own?
It is supposed to be in soundalias, it will affect all other maps. I am not too familiar with ignore files, so someone else can maybe explain this in further detail, but I'm pretty certain you can create an ignore file (or something), that will ignore weapons.csv for this map, you can then copy weapons.csv and rename then call it again in mod.csv or in your map's csv so you can edit it, and remove sounds one by one, without effecting other maps, once again I'm talking by viewing other threads, etc, on this so someone may go into more detail.

#4 I went to Language > C > C++ and now all lines that have # are BROWN. did I do it correctly?
Yes.
Also another one I just noticed
#5 I see things like "#P38 UBER,,,,," but then below it none of the stuff pertaining to it has #. Does that mean that All sound files for P38 are #'d? ???
No, that is only the weapon name for organization and easy finding, the reason it is #'d is so it doesn't mess with anything.
