Hello again. So I'm almost done with me my first map (Unmei no Hausu) but what happened was that, ever since I made an example map to show my friend how to map, it seems like a lot of problems have come up. The worst of which is that I, for some reason, can't add changes to my map. I have tried compiling my map and the patch and building the mod, all with the normal settings, yet when I go in game there is no change. Worst of all is that this change I'm trying to make is one that removes most of the experience-ruining bugs (explained in my last post.) Thanks in advance for anyone who responds.  :)

I would always make a back up of your Map file and mod folder before making changes. You say nothing is changing in the map when you compile ,  is everything in order in your mod folder ?

As long as you save the map file before compiling all your changes should take effect. Check to see if you have access to save in the root folder , when I started I had to save progress outside of the mod folder as Windows was blocking the access. If this is the case right click the root folder and properties make sure you have full access .

If that is not the problem I would reinstall your mod tools after backing up any work you have already done. Sometimes a fresh install makes a big difference.
