When I run launcher to compile my map. It runs through until I it gets into the waw program where it compiles the nodes part of the map in sp tool. Before it finishes it gives me a windows pop up error stating that I need to close the program. After that in the bottom right corner of launcher I get an error of 255. I have no clue what this means but I would appreciate the help. Thank You.

could be caused by having an excesive amount of pathnode's in solid's ( models, brushes, patches ) allthough it should spit out an error normally i believe..
You could maybe try compiling without paths ( deselect the 'compile paths' option in the level-builder tab on launcher ), if it does a full compile then you know you need to fix your node's / paths.. If it's still crashing, you need to search further

Sorry for sentence structure mistake,  that was pretty embarrassing. What I meant to say was "Thanks for the advice, I will have to look into that error. Do you think it could also be having too many lights on the map? I read online before that having too many lights could also cause errors.

Unfortunately it could be one of several problems. All suggested here

What I would recommend. Is locate your map file, copy it, rename the other copy "mapname_old". Then go around removing things in your current one. When you find the issue, delete the map, rename the other back to normal and repeat what ever fixed it

Hope you sort it ;)

But isn't it easier just to use script placer and come up with a new map name and place the map file into the new map folder in map_source?

not really, because its your map that is the issue, not conflicting additions like scripts

Judging on the error anyway

wouldnt hurt to try it though, but im pretty sure like the others said there is something in your map, not your mod, causing this error

:)

**EDIT**

Also I think what you meant was, make a new map, then rename your old one to the new name inside raw/map_source

all maps are held in this one folder, so youd create, then overwrite the newly created map :)
