Gun Sounds / Fx Editor wont save

So gun sounds i just need help getting some from mulitplayer and it wont work when i try so maybe you guys know some ways?

And my fx editor is weird. It will say it saved the file i edited but then when i try to open it again it resets to normal looks

Are you running the FX editor as admin? It sounds like it doesn't have writing privileges.

For the MP weapon sounds, open weapons.csv in soundalias and find the weapon header for whatever MP weapon you want to add. In all of the lines under it find:

Code Snippet

Plaintext

all_mp

and change it to:

Code Snippet

Plaintext

all_sp

Save & close, recompile maps main .ff.

For the effects editor try running it in Windows XP mode(SP3). Other than that I don't know.
