Hello, everybody. I have been having an error with my map, where whenever I go up to a perk or power switch, I see a grey hand symbol, and no press f to buy. I do not know what caused the error, but I have a clue that it might be because I haven't set up the power switch correctly(could not find a tutorial on how to do it). If somebody thinks that they have a solution, please post a comment. P.S. my profile pic is a pic of the error.

I can barely see that; Upload the image to a website like imgur and use the [img] tag or click the image icon.

Whenever you see a hand symbol and no text, when it is scripted that you shouldn't see the icon and that you should have a hintstring, then you have an script error, or a kvp issue or other scriptable issue in radiant.

When it comes to the power switch it could be that you have more than one power switch in your map. The power switch is handled in dlc3_code.gsc. When it comes to perks then you may not be threading your perk machines.

But since this is your first post, I will assume that it is something else before we get to those types of errors. Which script placer did you use? Are you using sniperbolts map? Did it work before and then start doing this?

Thanks for responding. The script placer I used was mr.hankeys, the one where the script is nazi_zombie_mapname. I did use sniperbolts tutorial prefabs. The map I made before was not working at all. It was in spectator mode. I used acz script placer when I was making my first one. I heard that mr.hankeys was the best one, and it is the only one that works for me. If you can tell me how to script edit, or send a youtube tutorial link in the forum, I will be happy to do it. Thanks.

Use the UGX script placer, Follow the tutorial carefully and if that still doesnt work try re installing the Mod Tools and try again

What do you mean the UGX script placer doesnt work? Sorry to act the silly question but have you even bought world at war on steam? And go on the UGX wiki for a tutorial, you should find everything you're looking for on there

the ugx script placer only generates the map specific files, any others are built from raw, which means if its not working - your raw must be in someway wrong, which is because of installing the mod tools wrong
