So i am creating a custom mystery box and i am first changing the lid but when i do it doesnt give me the option to buy the box in the game. I copied the KVP'S form the actual model lid onto my new one and it doesn't seem to let me buy it. o.o
Is there a specific way to do this?

Why not just edit the skin of the original mystery box?

Why not just use normal size font?   :P



To the OP, changing the model shouldn't mess things up. You sure you copied the KVP's exactly? And you used a script_model and not a misc_model?
Since the trigger stopped working, my guess is something went wrong somewhere.
-Use a new box prefab, stamp it, and only edit the model KVP for the lid.

Well what it is is i'm using the default mystery box in Sniperbolt' i copied and pasted the entire box and all of the peices to it to my new map. I was going to start by changing the lid first and the lid had target: magic_box_weapon_spawn_0, targetname: magic_box_lid_0 and classname of script model. I copied the target and target name into a script brush/model but it would sit there and not let me buy it.

I was going to place a different box from misc>perfab and use sniper's box it's all in one so i have to use the one that started in the beginning.

not fully sure what you're saying. But use the box that is 'all in one' and stamp the prefab, like this:

Then just only change the lid model.

If you are making it a brush you have to make it a script brush model select the brush and right click in 3d and there is a make script brushmodel. Not sure if that is exactly that wording but something to that effect. Not at a computer

Bigger font stands out more and easier to read even though I know everyone can read perfectly here lol :P

Lol xD so i changed the actual box and took away the lid, and compiled it and now i spawn in spectator mode lol
