asset manager doesn't seem to convert
yes the file format is dds.

it just says converted. press any key

For asset manager only .tga

Make sure you run the asset manager as Admin.

you can only use dds for the "col map", but sometimes its funny

try a few times, or use paint.net to make it a tga instead

Also the "size" of the image needs to be a power of two

what if tell you that more formats r supported by "assman" not only DDS and TGA... :P
for colour textures you need only DDS...
for normal texture you need it as TGA...
for specular you need  as TGA aswell...
for cosine map you need only alpha channel from specular texture in grayscale... as TGA...  when you port models from BO1 lowe brightness by ( -70) ....

Make sure you saved your .gdt file in your root or any sub-folder of your root (model_export; source_data; etc..). Make sure NOT to save it in a "sub-sub-folder"(source_data\FOLDER\; model_export\FOLDER\; etc..). Also, make sure you selected the material you want to convert in the left list. Sometimes it deselects the material, and it won't convert.
