Asset Manager Crashes At When Loading GDT File?

There's no better feeling in the world than a warm pizza box on your lap.
So after just messing with the mod tools for a couple weeks, I finally decided to try to work and make a map. I wanted to make a couple textures but the problem is once I open a GDT file Asset Manager crashes.
I run Windows 8 but I've tried using the compatibility, but still nothing. I've tried finding a fix but haven't seen one.
Any help?
P.S I'm sorry if this a common question but I can't find a fix.

Right click on Asset Manager in root/bin,Asset Manager
Then use the setting i use

Tried that and it still crashes as soon as I load up a GDT.

it crashed with any gdt? also, are the gdts from lime?Yes it crashes if I select any GDT. For example if I try weaponsettings it crashes as soon as I try loading it. Also no it is not from Lime.

I get this aswell, but you can right click a gdt file, then hit open with, then browse to the asset_manager.exe. i make my gdt files open in asset manager as default.

Which OS do you have? Win8 sometimes causes the WaW apps to crash if you don't run them in compatibility mode.
I get this aswell, but you can right click a gdt file, then hit open with, then browse to the asset_manager.exe. i make my gdt files open in asset manager as default.Thank you so much ! This actually fixed it for me !
