Hello all

I have a slight and possible unfamiliar problem.
I download all my zombie maps on my basic laptop and then transfer and play them on my main PC which is airgapped (never used online for the purpose of trying to keep it free from shite).
My problem is this way works fine with 50% or so of maps, however any maps which are zip files or have to download through the map manager I have been unable to find a way to then transfer onto my main PC.
Is there any way of doing this or am I kind of snookered??

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Keeping your computer offline so it doesn't get crap on it? Whats the point of even having it then?  ???

But i digress. Just copy all of the file folders from appdata and paste them onto a USB drive.

Yeh you're right, even though I don't intend on getting run over/raped/murdered, you can never be sure what lies ahead, so instead of just using my common sense and doing my best to avoid hazardous situations I'm just gonna lock myself inside for the rest of my life and hope for the best. :)

Those things can still happen even if you did stay inside.   :P

Never even thought of simply copying everything, suppose that will work fine so i'll get on that, cheers

The reason for the airgapped PC is that generally within 2-3 years of having any previous PC it starts to become slow just through the random crap it picks up whilst online. I thought I would try to do this to see how much a difference it makes and simply use this PC for gaming and work and after 1 year so far the PC is still like brand new. Plus I have a cheap laptop which works fine with downloads etc..
Even being careful about the sites you go on and what you download your computer still picks up tons of unnecessary cookies etc.. which through time effect how your computer runs.

Cheers

To tell you the truth, before I bought a router home, I had no internet at all, and my pc ran awesome. And now I have internet (duh), and my pc is still running as awesome as it was, so.....

Thats why you do some computer maintenance every once in a awhile to make sure everythings working correctly. I've been using a pretty powerful computer for the last 3 years and its actually gotten faster in general use because of drive and Windows updates which improve performance.

If cookies is all your really worried about then you should just download CCleaner by piriform. It gives you the ability to pick and choose what temp data(such as cookies) that you want to delete for applications(like a web browser) and deletes whatever you have selected. Its real fast, simple, powerful, and pretty much a requirement in order to keep your computer running smoothly.

if interested, you can download it from their website here: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

It also has a registry cleaner that'll get rid of things like bad references to applications that are no longer installed on your computer. Just one more reason why its such a great application.
