alt+tabbing game and then can't get back to it.

So this has been bothering me for a while, thought I should maybe there's a fix or someone knows.

I'm running WaW on Win7-64 with Steam and fullscreen. Sometimes I need to alt+tab and do something else -like using firefox, anyway.
But then I can't get back to the game, it's just black screen. I run task manager to force close game. I just can't even alt+tab this game. I know it's using old dx9 and I can't even use alt+enter or F9 to switch between fullscreen and windowed.

BTW I don't like to play windowed, idk wtf is going on but my gameplay as fullscreen and windowed are not same..I suck when I play windowed. SO that's not an option.

Any ideas? Any feedback is appreciated

That used to happen to me a lot too. Honestly, the only thing I can tell you is to get a new computer. I know it's kind of extreme, but that's the only way mine stopped doing that. Either that, or play in windowed mode, which I don't like doing, either

Thats the problem with WAW, you cant close out of the game to do something else without it black screening. Sadly theres no fix for it

Here's the closest I've gotten to fullscreen noborder mode if you care,

Awesome :3, no problem.
Those coordinates are for 1920x1080 (or well at least it works for me at that resolution).
