The power supply is no where near the motherboard or harddrive. And the 950 card is the dual fan version. Is that enough information or do I need to actually find a measuring tape :alone:
Can usually tell by eye

My old pc for example, i could physically only fit small cards in, this new one i can fit a bigger one, but it overlapps the SATA cables ( not all bad tho because they sell L shaped ones to get around that )

theres basically 2 sizes they stick to, full size and half size. Usually your ok with large ones, mine was just awkward lol

It is dual fan? Bit strange since it only goes to about the PCI slot. In any case, yeah it looks fine.

Last Thread Revival :-[. I ended up buying the gtx 970 gaming edition from msi. Cool. But my power supply doesnt have the 6pin and 8pin connectors to power it >:(

The psu that daedra linked

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438049&cm_re=220-GS-0550-V1-_-17-438-049-_-Product

Is that compadible with the 970? Or can someone link me to one that is compatible and maybe cheaper then the one daedra linked. :alone:

Even though it requires a 500WATT PSU, I personally would go with a 600+WATT, though 550WATT should be fine, and  it's rated 80+ Gold efficiency so should be pretty good.

How about this one here:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-438-066

Not modular so your going to have a harder time doing cable management(other one is modular).

Also, its 80+ bronze which isn't as power efficient and are generally of lower build quality(in terms of components used). Less chance of coil whine.

...but yes, that would work just fine.
