Is there any way to bind a control to a button on your gamepad?

This is something that has been annoying me lately when I play WaW with my gamepad.

So I use the "exec default_controller.cfg" command to play the game with my Xbox 360 controller.

And so, when you look at your controls, you can obviously see that the controls have now been mapped to the buttons on your gamepad:

However, there is something I would like to mention:

Notice how the "Reload button" is R on your keyboard.

The same goes with the "Use" function, where it is F.

Despite what it says there, I can still use the X button on my controller to use stuff AND to reload.

But some for reason, the game doesn't allow me to put two functions on one button.

For example, I wanted the Reload function and the Use function to be on the Y button my controller instead of X.

I click on "Reload", press "Y" on my controller, and I can now reload with "Y".

But if I go to "Use" and press "Y" again, now the button does the "Use" function instead. As for the Reload function, it just goes back to "Unbound".

Therefore, I would like to ask this question:

Instead of going to the controls menu, isn't there some kind of command I can use so that I can bind a control to a button on my gamepad?

What I was hoping I could do is make "Y" reload, and to also make it do the "Use" function, I could use a command like bind y_button "use" or something like that.

(Yes, I know that command doesn't exist)

Any help?

Just a question, but how do you know if it would be done in the .cfg file of my player name?

Because that's where the settings for your account are saved. There you can set the default FOV, the key-bindings, etc.

Thanks for the help. I managed to find the button binds and I was able to change them.

Not sure if this can go into this topic, but there's another question I would like to ask:

Is it possible to put in auto-aim for those who are playing with an Xbox 360 controller?
