The Junkyard
Non-UGX Mod Release
Map Progress: 98%

        Hello UGX-Mods, I am DrainEMmax and this is the first official map I will be releasing. But don't think I will let you down just because it is my first official map. I have been mapping for quite some time now and am moderately good at scripting. Some of you may remember me from another post I had made a while ago called UGX Mod The Beast. I did not release this map because I simply did not think it was a good map because it was just a variation of Sniperbolt's Tutorial script map. This time I am bringing you guys the finest work I have made yet, Nazi Zombie The Junkyard. This is a small, outdoors map with only risers and many obstacles to dodge. I have implemented many features into this map such as a buy-able ending and a zombie counter. Give me any tips or improvements you can to make this map even greater than it already is.

Not bad, if these pictures are old then you can probably just ignore these next sentences. I personally would suggest some different world spawn/vision settings as the yellow/green just seems a little unrealistic and personally would be a little annoying for me. As for the background I would put something out there like a tree line or hills/mountains. Maybe even big walls as if the map is inside some sort of compound?(idk just suggestions). Something to make the map not just kind of end and have an eternal void of sky. I'm guessing you know this and have removed them but I would remove the "Tutorial Map by Sniperbolt" text as its not really his tutorial map anymore lol. Also with the points I would change them to be a more realistic starting budget. Anyway I assume you already knew that I just wanted to point it out just in case. Also a small thing for the cars, it just seems kind of strange that there are cars out there. Like is it supposed to be a junk yard or something?. The tractor makes sense but I would try to make the obstacles in the map relate a little more to what the map is supposed to be. If it is something like a junkyard maybe some more detail to explain that(like rubble mounds and stacked destroyed cars etc.) Last thing is the terrain patching. I like that you involved some terrain in the map as it makes for a more interesting layout. The thing is I would recommend offsetting it everywhere. Like I see a lot of places where the terrain is flat. Even if its just you taking it a little down or up. Just something to make it look more natural, I shouldn't really be able to tell that there is any extremely flat areas. Just some suggestions I thought I would throw out. Hope you get the map finished soon ill be anxious to play it. :)

Thanks for the awesome reply! The points are just for me testing I will change it before the map release. As for the terrain and lighting, it is supposed to be a junkyard type of thing so you got it right! As you could see I definitely have not finished detailing. I am turning it into a nighttime scene and the ground to a concrete type of texture and thanks for the idea of the rubble everywhere. I am impleteting a whiteish grey lighting setting for the moon being the main light source Also offsetting the terrain is an awesome idea, I will be implementing these changes when I get home, as I am on my phone now. :)

yeah sorry just played it, meant to be a fun map i assume, but has various bugs in coop, with other players gun appearing on screen, map isnt done yet
