only the world model will convert, if I try converting the view model, asset manager wont convert it, it just works on it forever

Is it stalled on a certain command, a screenshot might help. Somethings you can look for is that all the files exist and are being called correctly in asset manager. If not maybe there is some corruption, reconverting the models might help. If that doesn't work then it could also be that there are too many influences on the model. If you haven't you can try removing some attachments that you don't want.

I dont have Maya and this happens for the more detailed guns (pistols, shotguns, and smgs are fine). Did you have to do anything special when you converted ARs and LMGs?

I dont have Maya and this happens for the more detailed guns (pistols, shotguns, and smgs are fine). Did you have to do anything special when you converted ARs and LMGs?
My last idea most likely applies then. Either there are too many surfaces for the model to convert or there are too many bound surfaces. Might want to obtain a copy of maya if you want to fix the issue. The student version can be found on their website and a converter plugin can be found here:
