I followed this http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=2872.0 tutorial on how to make the zombies eyes glow. It worked but now I want to know how I can make the  glow color different so it matches my the eye color. I have seen it done on other maps so I know it is possible.

Code Snippet
Plaintext
misc/fx_zombie_eye_single

Edit the color of that FX in Fx-Ed.

Note! If you save it again as the same name it will overwrite the stock FX.
If you dont want that you can rename it to whatever you like and change this line in _zombiemode.gsc

Code Snippet
Plaintext
	level._effect["eye_glow"]			 	= LoadFx( "misc/fx_zombie_eye_single" );

and change the  "misc/fx_zombie_eye_single"  to the new FX-file. Also dont forget to load it in your MOD.csv

Thanks trying now. I never dealt with fx before so i'm guessing that i would just open up the fx in effects editor and change the color in the color tab. Then save as with a different name. Correct me if i'm wrong ;)

Hmm jut went in game and got no errors but the glow was gone. It worked before with regular fx.

Can be a few things:
-did you recompile everything (so not only your MOD)? else the new fx isn't loaded
-did you get the path right in the LoadFX line? ( example: if your new fx is located in:

Code Snippet
Plaintext
:\root\raw\fx\misc\eye_glow_new.efx

Then the loadfx line should be:

Code Snippet
Plaintext
misc\eye_glow_new

-did you add the fx to your MOD.csv?
in the example above the MOD.csv line would be:
Code Snippet
Plaintext
fx,misc\eye_glow_new
