I have used the UGX script placer and i remember in the tutorial we deleted this file , but now i am making the map on 2 versions does this DLC3_weapons.iwd need to be in there , when i compile without some of the guns do not show up but i think that could be fixed .

The reason also is i am adding the rorke weapons and when i try add thunder and commando the game freezes and no error shows up. So i am not sure if i need this file or to remove it and add the guns back in using the DLC3code and ZM_weapins.gsc

no it doesnt "need" to be in there. Can load from raw, or just have the weapon files in your normal mods/yourmod/weapons folder

Instant crash usually means memory limit, background console will complain about physicalmemory.cpp or something

Your using the UGX mod i believe, so this isnt surprising, uses up all the asset room
