Rigging Ghosts gun to MW3 anims, Clip moves completely out of place?

So im rigging the Ghosts FAD to the MW3 anims, and they work fine, until I hit reload, I exported all the anims with no issues until reload, but when I drag the reload anim on, the clip doesn't move, this is because tag_clip is used in MW3 anim, and magazine_jnt0 or something is used on the Ghosts model.

So I renamed the magazine tag to tag_clip, all goes well, when I drag ANY anim on now, the clip moves completely out of place, but it still moves in the reload anim. How can I get the clip to stay where it is after renaming its tag?

I even tried renaming the tag in the model and bind files before opening maya, clip still out of place?

don't use the original tags of the ghosts fad. load it on maya then remove the tags, load the mw3 one on it, move the ghosts one on the mw3 one till it fits, remove the mw3 one and bind it manually. that's how i rig the csgo weapons when i want to use the animations of cod gun so i'm pretty sure it will work without a problem.

Ive no idea about binding the model myself, would it be possible to bind it with the mw3 bind?

Im trying it now but its giving me tommesh_0 is already connected to a skin cluster

don't use the .mel files when you load the models. load both models on maya as i said before, delete the ghosts fad's joints, move it on the mw3 one properly, select the meshes and joints you want to bind and go to skin -> smooth bind.

Attempted that, went horribly wrong, I positioned the tags roughly where they should be, but its hard to judge which meshes should be bound to which tag.

I can just use the MW3 FAD lol.

don't move the tags. just move the ghosts fad on the mw3 fad and then bind each part properly. what can be so hard about it?

I have no idea which meshes of the ghosts model need binding to which tag? and the tags are positioned incorrectly that way, since Ghosts FAD seems bigger
