The sound of God is the screech of tires, lights and magnets, bolts and wires. Strayed from the road, this very one, still to come. The sound of tires is the sound of God, the electric version.

To start off, I'm looking for a custom-weapons guide, doesn't matter if it is in Maya or not, but I do want to avoid having to download Maya at all costs. If you are experienced and just want to walk me through the process, that works too. I want to create a stock weapon using my own models, along with using the stock viewhands, which I'd want to know how to import into Blender if possible.

Another, is there a link for the BLOPS 1 Perk Shaders, or is there a good method on creating the types of Shaders used in BLOPS2

How fast does Speed-Cola ACTUALLY increase your reloading speed by? I know what time I want a SC reload animation to be, and want to base the regular reload off of it. Or, is it done with alternate animations and sounds?

I want to create a custom perk shader, I have the actual picture done, cannot get a material to compile using asset manager, would it be different from a world brush besides some mipmap/quality adjustments, along with some main settings?

as for the weapons first you have to get a model, then follow: Cod5 Custom Gun / Animations Tutorial - ( Part 6 ) (and the others preferentially in order)

if you use the gcz script placer there is an option for the bo2 shaders (it can be found at: http://custom-zombies.com/Forums/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=2)

i do not know i think its like 3 times but dont quote me on that

the easiest way is to save it as a dds and convert it using tom's dds to iwi conveter (it can be found at http://tom-crowley.co.uk/downloads/)

With Speed Cola, all reload times are exactly half as much.

you can't do custom guns without maya but there is a free 3-year student edition of maya 2011-2014 which is compatible with aidan's plugin for exporting to CoD.

@YaPh1l
Thanks! Great to know.

@Ray1235
Yes, I know about the student licenses, my sister is taking an Engineering degree and has an Autodesk account.

@n123q45
The video isn't what I'm looking for. To make myself more clear, I'm looking for a video on how to do the formatting for the CoD Engine, not how to animate a created one.

I know you can do it with Blender, I want to know if I need to do anything special to the gun model. What I'd like to do is finish a model, then import it into Maya, as I am more familiar with Blender.

the gun just has to stay under a certain number of verticies. Unfortionally i do not know what the actual number is. once you do finish modeling its the same steps. As for the importing, justt xport your model as an obj and import it that way

Just what I was looking for, thanks.

I suppose I could get the rest of the information by looking at the vanilla weapons.
