im not sure whether its just me or when everyone else converts xmodels from black ops i mean like static models like desks ect why arent they solid and why dont they have bullet impacts, the bullets and other impacts just go straight through them, im not to worried but it is annoying in some cases, thanks

This is normal. Even my own custom models aren't solid and don't take bullet impact. Not even stock models are solid, you need to put clip brushes around them respectively.

You could right click the model and click "make structural" in radiant, I'm not entirely sure if that will work on your custom model but I know that it works on some stock models, sometimes.

If I were you, I would just put a clip around the model, and if you want it to take bullet impact, make another clip_missile around the model. This will make grenades and bullets bounce off of it. Be more careful with how you set up the clip_missile though, because if it has bigger mass than the model, then it may look a bit funny if you throw a grenade over it or shoot over it and the projectiles are being deflected. Hard to explain but I hope that helps.

It's only normal if you don't know how to fix it  :please:

When you are in asset manager on the xmodel page, change collisionLOD to High:

make sure you actually rebuilt the xmodel asset with asset manager and actually recompiled the xmodel back into whatever ff you have it loaded in (map.ff for map-only models)

Also, script models will never get collision. Clip them yourself and link the clip to the script model and script appropriately.
