Another problem with anims, but this one is very minor ;)

Ok, so for some reason the cock on the gun in maya is in the correct place, but ingame its appearing where the yellow box is but only on the "idle" anim



which means it pops back and forth when it shouldnt, like everytime a bullet leaves the gun?

Otherwise all working fine, Could this be caused by me exporting the animated model incorrectly? Coz the anim appears to be fine in maya, and the other anims are fine in game. Just idle thats odd, ive exported it multiple times

**EDIT** I just noticed on the gun model it is placed in this wrong spot. When the anims are applied it is corrected. Should I Just manually adjust it?

not to there though, you can tell on first raise. Its in a totally different place until idle kick in. Then it pops forward (pops, not moves)

It also then changes again when reloading. It pops back to the correct place at the begining of its anim, also you can see in the maya shot of idle, Its in the right place, but in game it isnt, and ONLY on idle

Some BO2 anims need manual adjusting for things like bolt and clip, I had to do that on the M8A1 where the bolt and clip were at 0,0,0 in idle anim.

**EDIT** and i just checked. It is set, its set to idle too. There was no idle empty

I hope my explanation is clearer now, as I fear we are misunderstanding one-another

I know it moves, but while in Call of Duty, the catch is in a different place to where it shows in Maya, using the same anim

Try moving the j_bolt tag into place on the xmodel and reconverting the model.

Yup, I opened the model in Maya and adjusted J-bolt to the correct place

Then rexported it, and rexported the anim model

All ok now ;)
