I have another problem with my map.
During gameplay seemingly at random the game will crash saying:

What does this mean?
This never used to happen it just seems to crash constantly now at around round 5/6.

For some reason my points act very strangely in my new map.

For example, if I get a melee kill it SHOULD give you 130 points right? Well in my map it doubles it to 260 points. Same happens with a regular kill, it increases it significantly. Yet, points for each hit are still at 10?

I don't know what's happening and this is having a very bad impact on the gameplay of my new map. Any suggestions?

Nevermind it has been fixed. Although I don't know what the problem actually was, I had to delete my old _zombiemode_score.gsc and replace it with another one.

Hope this will help anyone else with the same issue!

(“Keres” is the female Greek goddess of violent/cruel death)

DESCRIPTION:
“Der Keres” is the next map in my custom zombies series following Overgrowth 115!  The premise of the map is that there are 3 different bases that connect across the earth: Der Riese (Germany), Der Eisendrache (Austria) and the most secretive base, Der Keres (Scotland). These three bases were constructed to form a path across Europe to allow Group 935 to expand to different environments and test conditions. A bunch of drunk Scottish weirdos find themselves randomly inside this abandoned German testing facility and so as any sane Scottish person would do, they arm themselves because they hear a noise. The screeches of the zombies get ever closer as they descend on the 4 lads, shouting “#HereWe” as they approach.

“Stairway to Hell” was a map that I released June/July 2015 and after initial heavy criticism from the UGX community I decided to take it down on all sites, thinking that it was for the best. After I had done this I was flooded with messages on ZM asking where the map was and demanding to get the link for it again. Ever since then the response for STH has been terrific, not only has it been awarded several high positions in “Top 10”-type lists but it has become my most downloaded and most popular map to date. I wasn't happy with the map from its release until now. I made it in 1 week consistently, as a “challenge” map, just for fun. It turned out that the map was extremely easy so the difficulty was raised and although the map is still quite easy today, it definitely provides a very casual and fun zombies experience. This is why I wanted to create a sequel…

“Return to Stairway to Hell” is the new sequel to the original and is nearing the end of its development. The new map will have lots and lots of new features that I wasn't able to add back in June 2015 but now I can. The goal of the map is to create something that is FUN, CASUAL and SIMPLE. To reinforce my point, this is NOT a map to be taken seriously, it is for the casual player and if you’re not a casual player then it probably won’t be for you. That was the main issue with the response for the original STH as many people argued it was too easy, too simple, not as hard-core as they’d like it to be. I understand some people will have an issue with me releasing a sequel and say it’s just “lazy mapping” or “didn't put enough effort into it”. But in reality, I feel I am able to - with the mapping skills I have - create an enjoyable zombies experience the way I envisioned it regardless of what anyone thinks makes a good map. I'm still learning after 3 years mapping and will continue to produce well-deserved content to these amazing communities and this map will be no exception.

Hi, I've managed to get an ambient soundtrack which would really do well in my map as background noise. The file is uncompressed .wav and is named "factory". Is there an easy way of just implementing a constantly looping background noise for all players?

Hi, I'm currently in the process of making my 8th map (I know, 5th map this year  :lol:).

I want to ask ANYONE out there what is their favourite gun(s) from COD4 - BO2 (EXCLUDING WaW) and I just might implement it into this new map.

The gun limit is around 50 and I'm already above 10 so suggest away!

When I fire some custom guns into large groups of zombies, the sounds of the guns (shot and reload sounds) sometimes cut out, almost as if they're is a limit on sounds and when zombies make a lot of noise, the gun sounds don't play.

I don't know.

If you've got any suggestions, I'd like to hear them.  ;)

DESCRIPTION OF THE MAP:

I created this map because I thought it'd be a fun little twist on the original progression formula you see in 99% of maps these days. I would be really interested to see who has survived to the highest round on this map so please comment below your highscore!

The story goes like this (if there even is a story): Some people on a parallel earth invented a teleport to our earth in a desperate attempt to stop the planet from being overrun from zombie-aliens (just go with it), after they realise the how the virus could spread to a different world, they must defend this portal until a way is found to shut it down completely - even if it means imploding the planet.

Could someone do me a big favour and create a script that displays a message when a zombie passes through it (top left corner of screen)?

I'm a complete noob at scripting and I don't know where to begin  :-[

Hello, I'm in the process of making a map and have encountered a bug(?)

I cannot get the ray gun out of the box no-matter how hard I try (but I do see it in there).

I did try removing all guns except the ray gun and when I got it out of the box it gives me nothing.

Also I know that the gun itself isn't broken as I can access it and use it from the console commands.

I have no idea why this is happening so if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok so I had a bizarre idea for a map and I need a few things in order to create it:

1. I would need the zombies to walk to a certain point rather than going for the players. (Like an always active interest point)

2. I would also need a trigger to which if the zombies touch the trigger it will end the game.

Is any of this even possible? Let me know if you know what to do.

Hi guys! It's Ping998 (CreepersAreEpic) here with my (5th) latest custom zombie map called "Overgrowth 115"! :)

Story
After the events that took place in Discovery Island, a team of highly-ranked soliders were dispatched to investigate a trace of 115 which scientists believed originated in an ancient ruin codenamed "Overgrowth 115". When the soldiers arrived all they could see was a mass of undead crawling towards them - unstoppable. The team has lost communication with HQ and must do everything in their power to survive and ultimately, escape!
