Hey guys! It's me, Ping again and I've been working really hard on making a brand new map for Black Ops 3!

If you remember my map "Discovery Island" from February 2015 (I know, over 2 years ago wtf?) you'll know it was a decent map gameplay-wise and the community was pretty happy with it. However, looking back on it now I see that the map was, as you might say, lacking 99% of detail. At the time of course, I was really proud of it and given it was my 3rd (proper) map release, I was happy for it. But nowadays, with Black Ops 3, this must be fixed.

Original Discovery Island:


I am now currently developing a sequel - which will still utilise the Discovery Island theme - called "Treasure Island". Treasure Island was the first name given to the island when Disney opened it back in 1974, I thought this would be an excellent chance of re-branding the zombie map I created to show a different perspective into this mysterious abandoned island on Bay Lake.

I am also planning to include a small part of River Country as a temporary Pack-A-Punch area as it is also a place I've always wanted to implement into a zombie map!

This will be my 3rd BO3 release! Since my first release, I have learned so much about the community/mapping as a whole and as a result, this map will be my most detailed and expansive experience yet!

Humanity's last battle against the unrelenting demons of hell. Take control of the gateway, and send them back to where they came from!

- Tower Defence Gameplay (If you've played Alien Defense, you'll know...)
- Warning messages to tell you where the zombies are coming from
- Buyable Ending
- No Dogs
- Power on at the start
- No Powerups
- Doors

Just wondering how you actually change the display name of the map and the mission brief text?

I know Wakka and Madgaz managed to do it, any suggestions?

For some reason, when I place the bright red light I want in my BO3 map it works in the camera view but when I go to load it in-game, it doesn't appear?

Any suggestions? (I originally posted this in the WaW section, sorry, got confused)

I was wondering, how do you actually make the zombies go to a certain point at the start of a game?

I have no clue. Any help would be appreciated!

What do you all think?

I really would find it interesting to remaster 1 or 2 of my old maps into BO3.  :D

Note: Options 5-8 may be a bit harder to implement since I no longer have the actual .map files to refer to. (But I could still easily redo it all)

This won't be definite, it's just to get an understanding of which maps the community would like to see make a return.  ;)

Whilst it's freakin' hilarious it's also extremely buggy and annoying.

In co-op (this does not happen for the host, ONLY non-host players), the dogs that spawn on dog rounds are just standing and sliding everywhere! (the dogs have absolutely no animations!)

Could anyone suggest a fix? Please?

I've pondered over this idea for a while but basically I think it would be fun if UGX had a BADGE system for all released maps!

For example when BO3 custom zombies becomes a thing there should be a menu option which shows you how many badges you have and can view friends' badges as well.

What is a badge you may ask? Well, it is an award given to the player after completing a custom map (the mapper could set a goal for their map or just have the players buy an ending to attain the award). These badges are just small customised icons which give prestige to the player (in other words, something to show their worth as a zombies player). Now, only maps which are officially registered by the UGX team can have a badge (only 1 per map) so that no one can just spam badges (and also to keep these badges saved in the system without the player having them so they are able to see their friends' badges that he/she doesn't have).

I know it's a very "out there" idea but I thought it might attract some more people to play maps to get external recognition!

For some reason Radiant decides that it absolutely hates me and crashes seemingly random after around 5-10 mins of mapping. It just crashed seconds ago after selecting a few objects to copy. I have a fairly good PC so it shouldn't be because of memory or anything (as I have turned the memory counter on and at times of crashing it is only using a max of 25%).

This is (as you can imagine) EXTREMELY frustrating to work with!

When it crashes it gives me the following error:



I REALLY need to fix this so I can finish my map! Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! I've got a weird idea but I think it's already been done.

What I am in need of is someone who can script me the following (full credit will be given):

- I need a Yes/No button on the 3rd main menu button (multiplayer button) that toggles verruckt runners on and off

I just thought that this would be fun if someone wanted a little challenge. It would be off by default however.

For some reason recently my radiant seems to constantly crash with this error at random:



I have no idea what causes it, and I don't seem to be doing anything specific when it happens. It just "happens" and ruins the progress I've made on my maps.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Is there a way in which I can disable some perks from being in Harry's Wonderfizz?

For example, I don't want Solo players getting Tombstone (as tombstone should only be allowed in co-op on my map) and also Widow's wine's perk bottle is replaced by the default pink cowbell (so obviously I don't want that there).

I want to use these perks as the perk machines they are assigned to, however I don't want them showing up at all in the Wonderfizz?

Any suggestions?

Does anyone know where I could find the yellow light box fx (the light that appears when you open the mystery box) and/or the fog rolling in fx for the hellhounds?

They seem to have disappeared from my map?
