The Rounds will not start

When I start my map, no zombies spawn and round 1 never starts. I've made maps in WAW before, but i've never seen this before. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you add anything recently to your mapname.gsc?

You deleted your zombie spawner. Generate a new map and find the checkerboard cube hovering over the map and copy it into your project.

my mistake was deleting the little black cube that is apparently the spawn controller
