hi am i getting a problem when using a glass texture for windows here is a picture

i have tried using no draw decal and caulk around the edges to try fix but not working any help would be grateful :)

Community Mapper Has released one or more maps to the UGX-Mods community which have been added to the UGX Map Manager.
I guess it's not the best solution but I used two patches instead of a brush.
The idea with the script brushmodel sounds pretty good.

hello,

you can also use this method:

make a brush and give it the texture:

nodraw_decal

(you could find it under textures > tools)


now you must have nothing selected!

now select only the front and the back from the brush

with selecting keys:    CTRL + SHIFT + LEFT_MOUSE_BUTTON    on the brush

you have now selected one side of the brush and you can give them a other texture like as example:

the default glass from codwaw or other textures what are working with blend functions.


EDIT:


sorry I see your message and the point is that:  Caulk  texture  that will give not good effect on the map, example:  your images that you post here.


nodraw_decal must make it better or there something going wrong.

maybe try to add somewhere where the glass is to make an reflection_probe
