So recently i got this error and i looked it up, tried to fix it and know "fx" has to do with the amount of effects in the map so you can't have thousands compiled into one mod, but i tried to fix it and i crossed "//" out about over 30 lines of fx and still i get the error, then i go back and crossed out every fx that is not needed in my map (about 40 or 50) and still, Not Working, and it happens with every map i make when i add Black Ops 2 perks (Specifically HarryBo21's Perk Pack) but when i make a map without it, it works and i just want it in my map, I don't want my map to be too simple. Please somebody, i've had this error for over 2 weeks and still no proper answer to my problem

[UPDATE]

So, yeah i checked, idk if it is some kind of glitch but with the mods tools where you can see how much assets are loaded in the mod, mine says 109/400 so, i think its broken or something?

the asset counter will not count "my" assets because i gave you the "already compiled" FF - it has no way to read it

so basically - your not looking at everything, only part, coz i could guess your not looking at the DLC3.csv assets either - as most fx is loaded from the waw guns, which are called from there

follow the tutorial again and remember to recompile the map too - this is not a bug or a glitch - it is a LIMIT,, the solution is merely to remove some of these uneeded FX, and theres a ton loaded for der riese that youd never need

I Got rid (//) of assets wasn't using and still.. Doesn't Work. I Tried making another zombies map and reinstalling the mod tools but nope. Still Doesn't Work
from where and then what did you do

you should only need to clear like 10 max just like i did on the video

I Went into zone_source and got rid of fx in zombiemode.csv and dlc3.csv, spent a few minutes crossing "//" out all the fx i didn't need so it looked like this "//fx,weapon/bouncing_betty/fx_betty_trail" and i bumped me down from 109 fx to 98 fx and it still didn't work so then i used a tutorial on how to put a folder called "singles" into the game files and it bumped me down to 85, i really wish i knew how to fix this, sorry if i'm wasting your time.

It's not removed those fx, it's just moved them into files that are not being checked in the asset counter now - I wish it would be removed it helps no-one

Go to zone_source - find yourmapname.csv and comment the fx from that - then recompile map and build mod

If your still hitting it go back to dlc3.csv and comment out a few guns - they load about 4 or more fx each



I recommend you reverse that tutorial - you don't "have" to but I do recommend it

You are only seeing those errors coz for some reason your loading in developer 1

None the less to "fully" remove a gun you must also comment the lines for those weapons from your mod/maps/

_zombiemode_weapons.gsc
Dlc3_code.gsc

If they are not in your mod "copy" them from raw/maps to your mod/maps
