So I've been working on creating a Custom Zombie map with some actual detail and around medium length in comparison to Tesla. It's been going good, until I tried to do a quick test and noticed that Hellhounds weren't working.
The hellhounds seem to spawn in like a normal zombie, are invisible, and stand still, yet you can hear them and receive a max ammo at the end after they die by the failsafe. the Hellhounds are linked to a zone.
Does anyone have any advice?
Are the spawners targeted to script_struct which indicates where they can spawn?
The tutorial I was reading didn't say I needed them for regular dogs. It's just a target from the spawner to a targetname on a struct right?
You do need the structs, if you load the tutorial map with the UGX Script Placer they will already be made for you.
Create a new script_struct with the KVP of "*ZONENAME*_spawners_dog" and place it about 8 units from the floor.
