Hello everyone, again.

Here I got an another question. Every single custom map that has UGX mod in it, always have the official UGX mod viewhands in it.

I would like to change them, I know which viewhands I want but I don't know the name of it but I will try to find them.
I was just wondering if I could change them becuase every UGX map that I have played always have the same viewhands, so I just guessed that it is harder to change them in a UGX map than it is in a stock map.

So myy question I have today is, how do I change viewhands in a UGX map?
And how do you change viewhands in general in waw?

It's not any harder than with a stock map. Just go into your _loadout.gsc and edit these lines: (your viewhands will be different, I was testing some stuff and ended up commenting it out since I now use a custom function for player specific viewhands, and I'm too lazy to look in the original file)

Make sure you add a "xmodel,YOUR_VIEWHANDS_HERE" line to your mod.csv. ;)

Does'nt UGX mod have a custom loadout?

If it did, am I supposed to change it in UGX_mod._guns.iwd/maps?

I looked at the UGX loudout, and there are MANY places were it says set_player_viewmodel.
I am not sure if I will have to change to all of them or only one of them.

There are many viewhands and most of them are not the same. I mean it is a mix of viewhands were it says like russian viewhands, us marine viewhands, black kit. And other viewhand stuff.

Any specific line were I will have to change viewhands in the custom made UGX loudout.gsc?

Yeah, change those and add the viewhands you want to mod.csv and it should work. ;)

Okey so the viewhands are called viewmodel_usa_marine_rolledup_player, so I added replaced the black kit, custom viewmodel stuff and added the viewmodel name at both lines.

And then I typed the text at the mod.csv
And when starting the game I have a flying M9 above me that follows me were ever I go, and there were no viewhands either.

I have a backup for ugxm_guns.iwd so I am not worried.
But what am I doing wrong?

I forgot you can't use cod5 viewhands with cod4 guns. -.- (unless ugx fixed that) IDK why but their anims bug out, but a flying M9 is quite weird tough... Try recompiling your mod to make sure the viewhands got compiled. ;)
