Hello everyone. Today I'm releasing my third map zm_salvage! Another MW2 multiplayer map now turned into a zombies map. Special thanks again to Stendby for the map sources. None of this would be possible without Stendby's efforts. The map is your classic Der Riese style map, and your main objective is to nuke the map.


MAP REQUIRES T4M
 
FEATURES:

  • ​​​​​​4 Wonder Weapons (Ray gun, Wunderwaffe DG-2, Thunder Gun, Winter's Howl)
  • Numan's Powerups
  • Gympie6's Black Ops Perks

  • Custom Modern Warfare 2 Weapon Chalks
  • Easter Egg song (shoot the 3 bears)
  • Tactical Nuke Buyable Ending

 
SCREENSHOTS:

I've tested the map solo and a few times co-op and it seems to be working just fine, however if you manage to find any bugs please report them here on this board or private message me either here or on discord.
 
KNOWN BUGS:
  • There's a bug with Mule Kick where if you go down in solo with quick revive you'll keep your third weapon even after losing Mule Kick. The game will only allow you to have 3 weapon slots so you can't get a 4th weapon if you get Mule Kick again so I'm not too pressed about it. If anyone knows a fix for this let me know.
  • If the Host of a Co-op game quits the match it will crash their game, but not the other players in the lobby.

UPDATES:
Update 1.1:
-Removed dive to prone feature
-Fixed pathing issues near soul boxes
-Removed unnecessary clips
-Removed Who's who from Numan's random perk powerups
-Fixed some tree models with weird visuals
-Small updates to the AA-12 and Intervention
-Fixed some buy triggers

The only bug I found is you can pack a punch through the gate before you finish the souls. Other than that it's a good map!

Zombies drop weapons and props, and you should design them to allow players to switch weapons by pressing buttons, rather than forcing them to switch weapons directly when they touch the props. Several times my good weapons have been replaced with scrap metal like this.
 
:boss: The map is good, all you need to do to end the game is absorb the Soul Box. I can unlock the purchase of nuclear bombs, and once I find all three teddy bears, I can listen to music. I'm tired of searching for all kinds of inexplicable Easter eggs everywhere without any clues, putting in a lot of effort to solve these riddles and Easter eggs. To unlock and clear the level.

I'm curious to know how exactly the MW sources for this map were gathered, and how difficult it would be to port other MW maps. I had this concept for the "Hidden" MW2 Spec Ops mission (mainly the out-of-bounds area ripped from COD4 "All Ghillied Up") to be turned into a zombies map. Hopefully someone shares my enthusiasm for this idea.
