Hey UGX Forumers, I have recently been trying to clear out my huge mod folder for World at War so i can clear up some harddrive space and only keep the maps i will actively play. The problem is, i can't seem to get the mods to remove. I have tried deleting the mods folder, deleting the game and files and reinstalling it again. I own the steam version (if that helps). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure you are removing them in right folder? They can be in 2 folders

The mods found ingame is not in the same area as your game is installed. go to %appdata%, go into local/activision/codwaw/mods and remove the mods you don't want
