(Posted this on ZM earlier today but since it is still unsolved thought I'd post it here too)

So, I have this super sexy wall going on:



However, that blend texture likes to screw with me and jump in and out of view because it is aligned exactly with the wall. I tried moving it even the slightest bit away from the wall, but it still blatantly looks like it's floating. What should I do?

go on the lowest grid (.25) and move it 2 units, you can also use "g" to try blending it more

If the patch vertices do not perfectly match the brush vertices they are overlayed on, they will flicker. The flickering is referred to as "z-fighting" because Radiant does not know which patch to put on top so it alternates between the two. It's annoying as hell to ignore in Radiant so I usually go to the trouble of fixing it whenver it occurs, but as stated above it will look fine ingame as-is.
