Sound not playing ???

Ok, so I had WaW functioning fully, that is before I backed up my pc again. I installed WaW again, but now, it does not have sounds at all. And nothing wrong with my speakers, they were fully functional, and they work on other applications too.
OS: windows 7

Nope. My sound on WaW was glitched too, I couldnt hear background noises. I could only hear myself shooting and reloading but that was it

After reinstalling my WaW everything was fixed. I advice doing the same.

turned out that I had to reinstall my direct x, since I already restored my pc, thanks anyway.
