Any ideas? The last time I complied the map, everything went smoothly and since that time I did not add any pathnodes or stuff like that. What I did do though was make a lot of primitive patches for 'bevel' so I could make arches. I have made a crap ton of arches. The map I'm currently working on is similar to a medieval castle and without those arches, I'm screwed. Thanks, need help, ASAP. http://s93.photobucket.com/user/iSayPwn/media/ERROR_zps90111cfd.png.html

If you put the arches on a nocompile layer, does the map compile without that error?

To put them on a nocompile layer:
1) Open the Layers window with the L key.
2) Right-click 000_global and choose "Create new Layer"  + give it some random name.
3) Shift-select a bunch of your arches, then right click your new layer and choose "Add selected brushes".
4) Click the little image icon for your layer on the Layers window and it should get a red NO symbol on it.
5) Compile your map again.

i think that error has to do something about having to many structural brushes.
select all brushes in your map and right click 3d preview and select make detail, then compile and see if that fixes it

I tried that, I got the same error

building curve/terrain collision...
Adding brush neighbor bevels...
Removing redundant brush collision planes...
removed 2581 brush sides
elapsed time 0 seconds
ERROR: MAX_MAP_NODES

Sorry!
Your solution was perfect. After making everything into detail I put in 1 brush in the map and then tried compiling it and everything worked. Thanks!
