I need to make some changes to my PayPal account as as a result I will have to disable the donation functionality of the site temporarily. Considering we haven't received a donation since December 2012, I don't foresee this as being a problem

As someone who also has to handle hate on a daily basis on YouTube, you won't be able to appease everyone. Just keep doing your thing and what you love to do and do it respectfully. THAT is all that matters!
